Honey Baughn  

VICE PRESIDENT, CONSUMER PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

Honey Baughn is the Vice President for Black Knight Professional Services, which specializes in home equity lines of credit and closed-end home equity loans.

She began her career in retail banking and eventually transitioned to the mortgage servicing industry at Great Western Bank in Northridge, California.  She started as a business analyst at Great Western and ended her tenure managing Special Loans.  During that time she mastered the functionality of our core MSP system, so it was a natural evolution that launched Honey from “proficient client user” to “seasoned vendor expert”.

Honey joined Computer Power, Inc. (CPI) over 20 years ago and initially worked in both the External and Internal PowerCell Departments.  From there she progressed through positions as Information Technology (IT) business analyst, project manager (PMP), IT Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, Resource Manager, and Consumer Product Manager.  Through these varied areas of responsibility she gained exceptional insight into many facets of the mortgage business and the consumer applications, from technical development to client-end-user, and nearly everything in between.  This valuable perspective is used to great advantage in Honey’s participation in the Product User Group (PUG), representing the Consumer products.

In addition to her responsibilities with Black Knight, Honey is a member of the Board of Directors for Colton’s Heart, a local non-profit, providing support to disadvantaged children in the Jacksonville area.  A native of New Orleans, Honey attended LSU (Louisiana State University). The management philosophy that helps guide her decisions and actions is:  “If I take care of my staff, my staff will take care of my clients.”​
